Now it seems, it was this site's turn to get infected by malware. Thanks for that. I got it clean again, and hopefully it stays that way.

Nun war's wohl für diese Seite an der Zeit mit Malware infiziert zu werden, danke auch dafür. Die Seite ist nun wieder sauber und ich hoffe sie bleibt es jetzt auch.

Well, sometime in January 2006, the website where you originally could download this gorgeous and rare yet completely free paper model of the Sci-Fi spaceship called 'Serenity', known from Joss Whedon's way, way too shortlived but absolutely brilliant TV-series 'Firefly', was overrun by internet users and sent to bandwith oblivion almost right away after it came online.

And unfortunately, Laz' website where hjis beautifully re-painted movie-version was available recently got infected by a php-worm.

So I've decided to be a loyal Browncoat and dedicate this small website to the papercraft model of the Serenity to preserve this precious piece of model artwork for the modeling community.
It's incredible, but it seems like some things do get lost in the vast deepness of the internet.

I sincerely hope the artists of this piece of art don't mind me providing a download for their creation but since their own sites are not really available anymore, I honestly think this paper card model is too precious to be forgotten.

Nun, irgendwann im Januar 2006, wurde die Seite, wo es dieses prächtige, seltene und dennoch völlig frei erhältliche Papiermodell des Sci-Fi Raumschiffs namens 'Serenity', bekannt aus Joss Whedons viel, viel zu kurzlebiger, aber absolut brillianter TV-Serie 'Firefly', ursprünglich zum herunterladen gab, beinahe sofort nachdem sie online ging von Internetusern überrannt und ins Bandbreitennirvana geschickt.

Und leider wurde Laz' website, wo es die wunderbar neu gestaltete Kinofilm-Version des Modells gab, kürzlich von einem PHP-Wurm infiziert.

Also habe ich beschlossen, ein treuer Browncoat zu sein und widme der Papiermodell- Serenity diese kleine Website um dieses kostbare Stück Modellkunst für die Modellbau- Community zu bewahren.
Es ist unglaublich, aber manches geht wohl in den Weiten des Internets tatsächlich verloren.

Ich hoffe wirklich, dass die Schöpfer dieses Kunstwerks nichts dagegen haben, dass ich ihre Kreation öffentlich zum Herunterladen anbiete, aber da ihre eigenen Seiten nicht mehr erreichbar sind, fände ich es zu schade, wenn dieses wunderbare Papiermodell in Vergessenheit gerät.
